DEEP BELOW LISTENING PARTY
On 6 and 8 February 2025, the Rats on Rafts - Deep Below listening parties took place at Galerie Weisbard. The new album of Rats on Rafts was played from the original master tapes, accompanied by film by Mathijs Burgler. We also presented Reel to Reel. Het analoge geluid van Rats on Rafts, the limited edition photo zine by Leonor Faber-Jonker & Jasmijn Slegh with photos of the analogue recording process of 'Deep Below'. Slegh exhibited her photography alongside the album artwork by Viktor Hachmang.
BOOK LAUNCH AT HOK GALLERY
On Sunday 7 May, we're presenting our new publication: Truus de Groot - So, You Wanna go to New York? A 1989 Anti-Tourist Guide at HOK Gallery, The Hague.
This box set contains the reproduction of a manuscript by Truus for an alternative "no frills" guide for New York City, as well as a never-before released cassette-EP with four NYC "hate songs" by Truus from around the same time, a postcard from Truus (1981) and a sticker for her Misanthropic Society.

At the book launch, a HOK matinee, Truus de Groot will do an acoustic performance together with Kathy Ziegler. We will also screen the short film Gallivanting.

BOOK LAUNCH & EXHIBITION
On the occasion of the publication of photo book GRIT. Truus de Groot in New York City, WORM (Rotterdam) presents a multimedia exhibition of the same name at S/ash Gallery (4-20 November). The photographs are on view alongside (super-8) films made by Truus, documents, and objects from her personal archives. Truus de Groot is coming to Rotterdam for a residency at WORM and will a.o. curate a movie night. On Thursday 3 November, she will play a Plus Instruments set with drummer Mathijs Burgler (Rats On Rafts) and special guests.
